Send flowers to Moldova
Moldova is a republic located between Romania and the Ukraine. Despite being a relatively small country, Moldova has numerous attractions, and tourism is a rapidly-growing industry.
A visit should probably start in the capital, Chisinau. Its nickname is the “White Rock City” as the stone of many buildings is local limestone, and they make an impressive sight along the wide boulevards. A visit to the cathedral and the charming open-air museum is also a must.
Other cities, such as Tiraspol and Balti, are endowed with their charms too, the latter being a major cultural centre.
Rural- and wine-tourism are particularly popular. The countryside is dotted with lovely small hotels and guesthouses, all good points from which to explore the best-preserved system of citadels in Europe. The Tighina, Old Orhei and Soroca are all marvellous buildings, giving us a great insight into what medieval life was like here. The country is also a wine producer, and many vineyards can be visited.
It is perhaps in spring when the country is at its prettiest, as the orchards and meadows burst into bloom. FloraQueen’s florists may well put some of these flowers into a bouquet if you wish to send greetings to your friends and family there and send flowers to Moldova using FloraQueen’s international flower delivery service.
