FLOWER DELIVERY TO LIBERIA
Liberia, ‘The White City’, is an authentic Costa Rican town with whitewashed houses dating back from colonial times. It was formerly a Nicaraguan settlement known as the Guanacaste village, and it was ceded to Costa Rica in 1826. Liberia acts as a hub for the island’s north-western regions, linking the volcanic mountains in the East with the bays, gulfs and beaches to the West. Brimming with festivities and events throughout the year, Liberia is perhaps most well known for its ‘fiestas civicas’, the people’s parties, which start with a ‘bombetas’ (fireworks) show at midnight, carry on with Guanacastecan music, a horse parade and a Cimarrona parade. The attraction of the year is, without a doubt, the ‘Toros a la Tica’ bullfighting show, dedicated to the traditional national sport, and which carries on for hours at a time as it moves from town to town throughout the country.
Liberia was blessed with rich flora and fauna and is fenced in by national parks on all sides, the most impressive of which are the Santa Rosa National Park and the Rincon de la Vieja National Parc, which are the homes of several heliconia species, bromeliads, orchids and various other plants with mesmerising flowers.
A flower delivery to Liberia is the perfect gift for a loved one and there’s no better way to show affection than with a professionally arranged bouquet.
