FLOWER DELIVERY TO BACAU
Bacau is a lovely Romanian city straddling two of the country’s most attractive regions, Moldavia and Transylvania, alongside the River Bistrita. People settled on its land as early as the 6th century, over the remnants of other civilisations long forgotten: Hungarian, German and Turkish colonists left their marks as well, though, establishing a multicultural community with diverse customs, faiths and ways of life.
Bacau fathered two of the country’s greatest poets, Vasile Alecsandri and George Bacovia, and welcomed the playwright Victor Eftimiu, the patron of the local astronomical observatory and a contributor to the literary magazine ‘Sburatorul’. Aside from souvenirs of their accomplishments, which can be seen at their memorial houses, the city holds artefacts that date back to ancient Dacia at the local History Museum. The city is resplendent with flowers from early spring to late summer, and the locals take advantage of their bio-heritage by offering dainty bouquets to ladies in celebration of the first day of spring, called ‘Martisor’, on Mother’s Day, for Easter, and for every occasion imaginable.
Taking part in this floral culture is easy, with a flower delivery to Bacau, Romania, being the ideal gift.
