Flowers for a summer party

If you have a garden or terrace at home, the best idea is to move the party outdoors. You can decorate the tables with a pretty chequered tablecloth and, on each one, place a small vase of daisies. This detail will make the guests feel like they are in the midst of a field of flowers, and will make the party more cheerful.

And no doubt the youngest members of the household will love the idea: they are sure to start plucking flowers from the vase to enhance their look with flowers in their clothes and hair.

As far as food is concerned, we also have summer decoration ideas with a floral touch. Sunflowers are the quintessential summer flowers so why don’t you include them in the party food? Not literally, but to decorate the cake or buns. Or, if you’re a dab hand in the kitchen, instead of using real sunflowers, you can make your own sweet ones like those in the picture.
