Customer of the Month for June: South African Anniversary Surprises

Making a couple happy on their anniversary, especially when they have been together for many years, is just one of the many great things that an international flower delivery can do. We spoke to Jean in a little more detail to find out more about her carefully selected surprise anniversary bouquet delivery to South Africa and how the lucky couple reacted to their gift.

Can you tell us about yourself in a few words?

I am a retired head teacher, aged 85 and live in a village called Dwygyfylchi which is in Snowdonia North Wales. I love my garden and spend many hours working in it. I am also an artist and enjoy capturing the wonders of the landscape with my canvas.

Which bouquet did you choose for your last purchase? Why?

I chose your Peach Flavour bouquet of orange lilies and roses because I wanted to send a bouquet of that exact colour (it’s my daughter in law’s favourite).

Who did you buy this bouquet for and what was the occasion?

The occasion was my son’s 25th wedding anniversary.

What was the reaction of your recipient?

My son was delighted that I had remembered and my daughter in law was equally pleased that I had chosen her favourite colour flowers.

Do you usually send flowers to your loved ones?

I often send flowers to friends and relatives.

Do you usually keep flowers at home?

I always have flowers in my home, some of which are bought, but throughout the summer I pick them myself from my garden.

Why do you think flowers are the best way to make someone smile?

Flowers make people smile because they are bright and beautiful and they let people know that you are thinking of them.

What kind of flowers do you like to receive? What do they symbolise for you?

I like all flowers but have a particular fondness for blue ones. Blue is my favourite colour and that’s probably because it is my birth stone colour.
